Xavier University School of Medicine, Aruba

FOUR (4) YEAR MD PROGRAM (Doctor of Medicine)

Xavier University School of Medicine at Aruba's accelerated program groups four academic years of medical education into slightly less than 4 years, without compromising the total number of hours credited or clinical exposure. Twenty months of pre-clinical courses in biomedical sciences are combined with Clinical Board Series utilizing patient and physician educators to maximize the experience for each student.
This is followed by 72 weeks of clinical opportunities in core and elective clerkships, as well as clinical research. The curriculum has sufficient flexibility for students to do extensive research, pursue advanced degrees, participate in special tracks or explore other avenues of professional growth.

5 1/2 Year M.D. Program

A rewarding program for those who have no reservations about the career path they've chosen. Four semesters of focused Pre-Medical studies will fully prepare you for your Pre-Clinical studies at Xavier University School of Medicine at Aruba.

Our typical high school graduates tend to be prepared for residency before the age of 23. As a matter of fact, most of the students in this program are thankful because of the number of years they saved by not having to secure their position as a medical student with a bachelors or a masters degree.

Your pre-med courses done at XUSOM at Aruba will allow you to remain a qualified candidate for medical licensure.
