Pavol Jozef Šafárik University - 6 Year Medical Programme

The Medical school of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia offers an intensive six year programme, taught exclusively in English. At the end of the 6th year, students who pass the obligatory state written examination, graduate with an accredited Doctor of General Medicine (M.D.) degree.  
 

Each academic year is divided into two semesters with a substantial winter and summer break.

Graduates of this program acquire theoretical knowledge in a range of preclinical and clinical topics. With regards to practical knowledge, students learn therapeutical and clinical methods and acquire qualifications for specializing in various respective fields and in medical research.
