6 Year Programme

The American University of Antigua, College of Medicine provides a medical education equivalent to U.S. medical standards.Training at AUA prepares students to pass the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) for U.S. medical licensure and practice and provides the foundation for postgraduate specialty training. AUA students begin their clinical experience during their first semester at the Holberton Hospital in St. Johns, Antigua. Clinical rotations are completed at U.S. teaching hospitals. The six year MD degree programme is intended  for high school graduates who fulfill the minimum requirements.
