The American University of Antigua 4 Year Programme for BSc. GraduatesThe American University of Antigua (AUA), College of Medicine provides a medical education equivalent to U.S. medical standards.Training at AUA prepares students to pass the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) for U.S. medical licensure and practice and provides the foundation for postgraduate specialty training. Graduating students are eligible to participate in the National Residency Match program (NRMP) and are also eligible to apply for their ECFMG certification. AUA students begin their clinical experience during their first semester at the Holberton Hospital in St. Johns, Antigua. Clinical rotations are completed at U.S. teaching hospitals.
The 4 year MD degree programme is intended for graduates of BSc (Bachelor of Science) academic degrees.
